The Val d'Orcia, the region of Tuscany in the province of Siena of rare beauty where there are fascinating towns rich in history and traditions such as Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme, a land that offers the possibility to make a eno-gastronomic tour to appreciate its fruits, wine roads and oil for a unique and unrepeatable experience. In this part of Tuscany we proposed the Orcia House, that is found in the historical centre of Contignano, a fraction of the municipality of Radicofani, situated inside the Natural Artistic and Cultural Park of the Val d'Orcia, World Heritage site since 2nd July, 2 2004. It is a centre of historic and touristic interest, originally Roman, situated at 490 metres above sea level, it is famous for the excellent pecorino cheese that it produces and for its "Ravioli Festival" that is held every year in August. The "Geranium Show" in the month of April, the open air musical concerts, within the suggestive frame of its historical centre, and the presentation of the "Artistic Christmas Cribs". The hamlet is worth a visiting every month of the year for its chromatic changes in the countryside in which it is immersed, for its peacefulness and for its good cooking. It is an ideal refuge for those who love nature, trekking and sport. The house is found in the historical centre in the pedestrian area, it is on two levels, with 2 staircases to the first floor. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with a fireplace, a bathroom and a living room where one can sit with friends with a glass of good wine. On the first floor there are the three double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and two bathrooms. From the two windows can be observed the marvellous Val d'Orcia, Pienza, Mont Cetona and the fortified castle of Radicofani.
