This is an ancient hayloft that has been restored thanks to the collaboration of a famous Italian architect. It is one of a larger set of buildings (where the only two proprietors live), which have preserved the structural features of old Tuscany farmhouses.It is surrounded on all sides by the green hills of Mugello, an area where the environment is carefully protected, and located in the vicinity of the house where the painter Giotto was born. During the restoration activities, special attention was dedicated to reusing natural materials; therefore, precious woods such as elm and handmade terracotta tiles were used to lay the floors and natural marbles such as travertine were chosen as lining for the bathrooms.The furniture of the rooms is a clever and pleasant mix of old Tuscan and modern Italian styles. The garden, exclusively for the use of our guests, was created by adding botanic elements typical of the Mugello hills and it hosts a swimming pool with a characteristic water fountain, also for the exclusive use of the guests staying at the house.The farmhouse is 4 km away from the train station where trains bear you to the city center of Florence in only 30 minutes; the golf court is 10 km away and Lake Bilancino with surfing and sailing facilities is at a distance of 14 km. The closest riding-ground is only 5 km away. From the farmhouse our guests can easily reach modern shopping centers and the hospital, which are only a few minutes' drive away. The hayloft is therefore an ideal location where ancient flavors and state-of-the-art facilities blend harmoniously. Thanks also to its Mediterranean climate and to the hill-land setting, in every aspect reminiscent of the age-old Tuscan tradition, our guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a most relaxing vacation.

The villa is located in Massa Lubrense facing the islands of Capri and the gulf of Naples just above the sea ten minute drive from Massa Lubrense and about 20 minutes from Don Alfonso. The villa is built with 4 levels and is divided into two houses. The swimming pool, 10 m x 6 m large, and 1,5 to 3,5 m deep is filled with seawater, has internal lights for night swimming. Only 100 steps from the incredible independent sea access of the villa. The house has telephone line and is possible to connect via modem portable PCs for Internet connection. The second level of the house, is entirely occupied by the main living room (some 80 sqm), the dining room and the kitchen. There is a large fireplace faces one of the big terraces with two large French windows that look on to Capri and the mountain Vesuvius. The living room where the main entrance is located, is about 40 sqm is equipped with an HIFI system with a CD player and a large screen TV with satellite. The dining room, in a panoramic position, has a table for 10 sitting diners. The kitchen is fully equipped. This independent houseis a comfortable farmhouse, layed on a hill, in a small estate reserved and destined to cultivation. The house is near Morzano, a village from which you can reach Florence. Part of the estate of Casa Rossa is fenced and reserved for hosts. The house, once used as countryside hayloft, is made of plain material, typical of Tuscan tradition. Here you can live at the slow tempo of countryside and you can smell the natural scents of Tuscan countryside.
