15 kms from Arezzo at an altitude of 500 mts you will find a villa obtained from a Benedectine Monastery of the XII century very well restored, situated in the middle of a vast forest including game-preserve with abundant native game such as muflons, fallow deer and wild boar. The villa, can be ideal for a private getaway and family reunions and for those wishing to spend a holiday of total relax and calm living in strict contact with nature. The house is furnished with old and well preserved furniture. There are infact eight bedrooms each with its own bathroom: 5 twin bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with bath tub, 2 king size bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with bath tub, one single bedroom (sofa bed) with en suite bathroom with shower. There are 2 dining rooms: a small one for 6\8 people maximum with a very big working fireplace where you can grill or barbeque and a bigger one with a table that, with its extensions, can seat 18\20 people. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. The large living hall gives access to the two big, elegant dining rooms, one of which is equipped with satellite TV and DVD player. The villa looks onto a very impressive internal court where you can have lunch or dine under a very large umbrella with wooden tables and chairs. There are also wooden arm-chairs and attractive chaise longues just for lounging outside. Near to the Monastery there is a large lake of uncommon beauty, which, during the summer months, allows bathing from a floating platform sun-deck, equipped with deck-chairs and a beach umbrella with an adjacent changing hut. The lake water comes from a natural spring. A heliport allows the landing and the take off of any type of helicopter. The country roads are all private. It is possible to visit the 1.000 hectares estate by jeep or go for a walk in atmosphere of absolut peace. Pets are not allowed. Children are welcome. The gate has an automatic opening. Cell phones can be used on the ground floor where a special impulse repeater has been installed. The villa is on two floors: ground floor and first floor. Internet connection is at disposal (isdn or adsl not available in this area).Additional services like preparing lunch or dinner or pressing can be made and payed at the departure by the hourly rate of 10.00 euro.

The Villa was the summer residence of the last prime minister of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany (Giovanni Baldasseroni), built in the 18th century on a 16th century religious site, and is still owned by the descendants of Count Baldasseroni.
