A few kilometres away from l'Aquila, the capital of Abruzzo and within a short drive from the Gran Sasso National Park. The hotel Villa was originally built in the 16th century as a private summer residence for a noble family. In the XVIII° century the villa was almost entirely decorated with frescoes by french artists. The hotel is unique in the fact taht it only has 10 rooms each named after a colour. The decoration of each is truly individual and in keeping with the period of the building.
