This is a lovely 'borgo' or tiny village with its well implanted roots that originates far back in the year 1100 when it was a small medieval village protected by a guard tower which overlooks a valley and is dominated by the castle.Today after a very intense restoration the "casale" maintains its intact ancient glamour thanks to the antique stone walls and to it's typical interior structure. The self catering apartments are situated on the top of a small hill and they all have independent entrances and gardens, kitchen corners and fireplaces, single central heating and are all furnished in typical Tuscan style. All this is offered to create a pleasant stay in Tuscany's countryside. The environment surrounded by its hills with vast open fields, large centuries-old trees, olive grooves and chestnut woods offers tranquillity and peace. The holiday farm is situated at a 50 minute drive to the northeast from Florence, an hour and a half from Siena and Bologna.The hamlet is made up of 8 comfortable renovated apartments of various sizes and typologies for a total of 41 beds.There is a large pool with an incredible panoramic view.
