Property description

Our family has been running restaurants and welcoming guests since 1934. For the past few years we have been looking for a suitable place to revive the inn, or locanda, which our grandparents had up until 1974. Finally, as of 2003 and after two years of hard work, five new rooms were made available to our guests. And so, we have proudly managed to create a modern version of the idea of total hospitality which our grandparents created seventy years ago. The renovation and furnishings spring from the creative mind of our friend Paolo Fiorentini, a young and talented designer and interior decorator, who is famous both in Italy and abroad and who took on this project whole-heartedly. Making use of antique woods, iron doors, art deco glass and lamps, mixing and matching modern and antique design, we have created rooms, some of which have intermediate floors, of different dimensions and with different decors in which we hope you will have a pleasant stay. It is our pleasure to demonstrate our passion for the continuous search for and (re)discovery of new ideas by offering an enveloping, bold environment which breaks the rules and is yet always warm and comforting. Ours is not a hotel, but a part of our home available to our guests. The rooms are situated in a small quiet private street and have comfortable high-quality beds and mattresses, bathrooms with bath-shower or shower, satellite TV and radio, individual heating control, a small library and a selection of magazines. Three of the five rooms offer modem access to connect to the Internet from laptops.
