It sits on a hill 500 metres above sea level, in the center of a 40 hectare farm, which produces wheat, sugarbeet, vegetables, hay, and straw, and raises cattle. In a splendid panoramic position overlooking Mount Amiata, the nearby natural reserve of Monte Rufeno, Rocca di Radiocofani, Mount Cetona, and the castle of Torre Alfina, the farmhouse is located at the center of numerous towns of cultural and touristic interest, and sits at the border of three regions, Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany.The Agriturismo, restored as a traditional farmhouse, offers friendly and comfortable accommodation in renovated lodgings. It was originally built in 1932, the year in which the Favero family transferred from Piemonte to Torre Alfina. The house is composed of three two-roomed apartments and one studio apartment with a large fireplace, accommodating up to 12 persons. Each apartment is appointed with antique furniture, well-equipped modern bathroom, central heating, t.v., and kitchen. An ample garden with pool, traditional wood burning oven, stone barbecue, and gazebo surround the farmhouse (also large private parking area for our guests). Mountain bikes, ping pong, organic vegetables, and farm products complete all that we have to offer.
