This beautiful apartment has been decorated by an architect herself, in a warm and colourful style. The building dates back from the 19th century but features all the mods and cons you need to have a comfortable stay. In the bedroom there is a queen sized bed, a wardrobe and secreterie. Extra sleeping arrangements are present in the living room – a sofa bed comfortable for two. Another sofa and an easy chair complete the living area. From the living room you can access the private courtyard, a great space to relax in after a long day about town. The kitchen is of a good size and fully equipped, as is the bathroom. The apartment is within walking distance of the Colosseum, in the heart of bustling Rome. The 'rione’ (neighbourhood) is full of history and culinary delights; modern day speciality food stores, restaurants, supermarkets and pubs. A speciality food store to visit is Panella's Bakery, on Via Merulana. Take a walk to Piazza Vittorio in the mornings for the open-air food market to discover other specialities of Rome. The owner has successfully created a relaxing, soft and cosy atmosphere, adding colour and warmth to the environment. A welcome change from the usual hard and cold apartment décor.
