One of our special Rome apartments, is set in the heart of Rome's city centre, owners of this cosy apartment have spent four memorable years before deciding to rent it out. Location is prime, to say the least: Piazza Navona is 5 minutes walk away, as is Trastevere, and Campo de' Fiori is just round the corner. Piazza Campo de' Fiori (literally...'field of flowers' square), is the main open-air flower market in Rome and in the early hours of the morning it transforms into a beautiful collage of colours and scents that mingle with those of the bustling food market. The Piazza also offers an array of speciality food stores and antique shops, and in the evening is one of the most popular places for people to hang out and enjoy each other's company. The apartment is located in a beautiful Renaissance building. The house is divided in two areas: one with a 4 meter high ceiling (the exposed timberwork is particularly beautiful) and the other a lower featuring a brick vault decorated in a very refined Italian style. The apartment is in a 'Rione' that is off limits for non-resident cars and therefore quiet - if one listens carefully at night, seagulls can be heard as they fly up the river Tiber and settle themselves on the domes.
