The "Casale" is an ancient rural stone mansion on the Appennines Mountains between Florence and Arezzo, into the Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona and Campigna National Park and very near to the historical Monastery of Camaldoli, which can also be reached walking through 3 several and smooth paths among the woods. The farm is situated in a silent and quiet spot at 678 metres a.s.l. among woods and streams, where is easy a close encounter with wolves, deer, wild boars, royal eagles and squirrels.The hospitality is offered in independent apartments and in a detached stone house, all former rural annexes restored with exclusive bathroom and kitchen. The organic farm produces and sells wine, fruits, honey, jams and marmalades.The farmer is also a Guide of the National Park and organizes guided naturalistic excursions in the wildest and secluted spots of the Casentino Forests and provides of maps, leaflets and assistance for self-guided tours. Nearby the famous hermitages, monasteries, medieval castles and historical stone villages of the Casentino, high river Arno spring Valley.The most famous artistic towns of the Centre Italy are near: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Sansepolcro, Perugia, Urbino, Ravenna.
