This is an Italian mediaeval tower-house,part of a hamlet on the Florentine Hills in Chianti just south of Florence. Surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, facing the Arno valley and the mountain of Pratomagno.It has 2 self-catering apartments,one on the ground floor and the other on first and second floor of the tower. It is 16 kilometres from Florence and only 3 from the town of Pontassieve where shops, supermarkets, banks,a post office and a railway station are near at hand. The house, built in the XIIth century with white limestone,was restored between the XVth and the XVIth century assuming its actual aspect. Its location in an area with many cultural and natural attractions makes it easy to visit the famous mediaeval towns in Tuscany. Who are fond of sports may follow the itineraries in the countryside directly from the house.
