A magnicent 17th century Tuscan villa in central Tuscany,southeast of Florence, that originally belonged to the Marquis of Altovita Avila, a famous florentine family, and was bought by the actual owners in 1933. Tha villa is in an historical park with beautiful cypress trees which lead to a natural wood of old oaks, and other beautiful, characteristic shrubs and plants. Guests are invited to take walks in these lovely surroundings.The family have newly nenovated two self-catering apartments to the left of the villa which was originally part of the stable quarters. They are independent from the villa and each other, each apartment has its own private garden. It is a perfect retreat in which to enjoy peaceful days in a heavenly setting and only 15 km from the centre of Florence.The accommodation sleeps 9 people and has a large pool shared with the owners.
