Within the Tuscan archipelago with its untamed natural beauty, its sand beaches and its tiny pebbles polished by the sea, the island of Elba is one of the largest marine parks in Europe. Located on the seacoast on the eastern side of Portferraio bay, and only 2 km from the golf club with which it has special agreements, this imposing neoclassical villa has been the property of the Di Mario family since 1920. In order to increase the capacity of the stately home, an elegant structure was added behind the villa in 1972 as well as several cottages located throughout the park. This complex, restructured during the past few years to reflect the initial architecture is located in a century-old 24,000 m² park overlooking the sea and leading to a private beach. The complex is reserved for pedestrians only. The site has numerous outdoor and indoor areas such as, for instance the former parlor of the Comtessa Toscanelli decorated with splendid period frescos and three restaurants: a spacious one located in the luxuriant park, one with air conditioning and the third just next to the pool. They boast numerous and varied culinary delights: refined international cuisine or delicious Tuscan and seafood specialties (meats, Florentine & Tuscan specialties, fish, Tuscan ribs and gastronomic Italian cuisine) without forgetting the delicious desserts prepared with passion by our pastry chef. In this exclusive, enchanting hotel frequented by exclusive yet informal customers, savoring an aperitif ablaze with a magnificent sunset in an ambience enlivened by the melodies of excellent musicians, is, for our guests, a memorable occasion in an unforgettable stay on Elba.
