For years we have dedicated ourselves with respect and passion to our land cultivating grain and producing oil, transmitting love for these places to the guests to this comfortable farmhouse construction at the beginning of the 1600’s.
The farmhouse has belonged for centuries to this land where the expanse of grain, olives, broom, the century old oaks, the Crete Senesi, and Mont Amiata merge together in a natural and unique context.
From this ancient farmhouse in stone has been transformed with absolute respect for the original design, this habitation is around 350 sq. metres spread over 2 levels, furnished with lights in wrought iron from Pienza, linen fabric from Monticchiello, antique furniture and Tuscan rustic furniture.
The floor is in terracotta, the restoration of the antique wooden beams and the large original fireplace in stone, are testimony to the past, welcoming guests to a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

The villa is located in the spectacular countryside of the Orcia valley, which has been renowed since the end of the first millennium as important stage on the Via Francigena, the great medieval pilgrimage road from France to Rome.
In restoring the structure as a comfortable vacation house of exceptional character, the owners’ main aim was to respect the original features of the building.
Rooms with wood-beamed ceilings are well sized and open to the most beautiful views of the valley, with wheat fields, olive groves and cypress trees.
The family respected the traditional structure of the farmhouse and kept the house divided into two independent units: the ground level, once the stables, which can accommodate ten people, and the top level, where the peasants used to live, which sleeps four more people.
As a result, the villa is the perfect setting for family reunions or groups of friends looking for an “oasis” of tranquillity, surrounded by art and culture.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, a huge living-dining room with double doors opening to the front patio and to the back garden.
In the smaller living room there is a large stone fireplace surrounded by wide red sofas spreading a warm and cosy atmosphere.
Five spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms complete the remaining space on this floor.
A stone outdoor staircase leads to the upper floor unit; four breathtaking arched windows overlook the valley and the huge oak tree in front of the house, creating an open and dynamic space.
Another large stone fireplace offers an ideal retreat for afternoon reading.
A fully equipped kitchen will appeal to those who love cooking, and the vistas and plantings from the many windows are very pleasing to the eye.
The extensive lawn is mainly seeded with grass to maintain the open space of the valley and not to restrict the view around the farmhouse.
Terracotta pots with geraniums, wild roses and bushes of lavender and rosemary create a beautiful frame around the pool. The covered dining space with fireplace, pizza oven, barbeque, table and chairs will let guests enjoy unforgettable Tuscan sunsets.
